I have been playing and teaching drums for most of my life.
Currently, I am working in Northern NJ as a freelance drummer and educator. I serve as a 4th and 5th grade music teacher and band director in Long Hill Public Schools, and have a diverse array of weekly drum students. I am a graduate of the esteemed jazz program at William Paterson University, where I graduated magna cum laude with a BM in Music Education and Jazz Studies. I hold NJ state certification in K-12 music education. My private students have ranged from complete beginners to experienced players, as well as students with special needs. A couple of my private students have gone on to study drums and music at excellent college music programs such as the New School and William Paterson University.
I also have experience with recording for artists from diverse genres, and have experience both in professional studios and my own recording studio, which has 16 mic channels of high-quality professional microphones.
